NAME OF THE MURAL:
HEY MICK, KURT... IMAGINE!
This mural features three iconic singers: Mick Jagger, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, and John Lennon of The Beatles.
The word "IMAGINE" separates John from Mick and Kurt, while fragments of the lyrics from the emblematic song, both in English and Spanish, are scattered throughout the artwork. The title of the mural, "Hey Mick, Kurt, IMAGINE!", evokes Lennon's voice urging his peers to dare to imagine a better world.
All of Argensud's murals are compositions created from texts, phrases, poems, drawings, and paintings by different artists, combined into a digital collage, and then painted with brushes and synthetic enamel on the walls.
